India Imposes Provisional Anti-dumping Duty on Chinese Barium Carbonate

On March 23, 2010, the India Customs decided to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty on barium carbonate originated from China, with the levy period being half a year (until September 22, 2010).

A provisional anti-dumping duty from 121.31 U.S. dollars per ton to 206.26 U.S. dollars per ton shall be levied on those Chinese enterprises that have responded to the action, while the duty rate of 213.34 U.S. dollars per ton shall be levied on other Chinese enterprises. .

In July 2009 India initiated anti-dumping investigation on this case, and in January 2010 made the affirmative preliminary ruling.
