Russia's Export Tariff on Petroleum to Raise about 3% Next Month

On May 17, 2010, some official from the Ministry of Finance of Russia announced that, as of June 1, 2010, Russia's export tariff on petroleum would be raised to USD 292.1 per ton from USD 284 per ton, up 2.9%.

According to the calculation formula of Russia's export tariff on petroleum, in June 2010, Russia's export tariff on petroleum will be raised to USD 292.1 per ton, the export tariff on light petroleum products will be raised to USD 209.1 per ton from USD 203.7 per ton, and the export tariff on heavy petroleum products will be raised to USD 112.7 per ton from USD 109.7 per ton.
