Brazil Adjusted Anti-Dumping Duty Rate on Glyphosate

On June 9, 2010, the Brazilian Official Journal (D.O.U) published the Resolution No. 41, 2010 of the Chamber of Commerce of Brazil (CAMEX), resolving to adjust the anti-dumping duty on glyphosate imported from China (HS Code in South American Common Market: 2931.00.32, 2931.0039, 3808.93.24) from the ad valorem duty of 2.1% determined in the Resolution No. 3, February 3, 2009 of CAMEX to the special anti-dumping duty (DAE), with the calculation formula: USD 3.60 per kilogram minus CIF (Cost Insurance and Freight) of each import operation, the maximum amount of tax USD 2.52 per kilogram.

The Resolution shall take effect on the date of promulgation (June 9, 2010), and shall be valid till February 3, 2014.
