Russia to Apply Zero Tariff to Import of Large Civil Aircrafts with over 250 Seats

According to a report on June 16, 2010 from the Russian Interfax, the tariff and non-tariff regulatory sub-committee of Russian Federation decided to apply zero tariff to import of large aircrafts with over 250 seats.

At present, the import tariff of civil aircrafts with between 50 and 300 seats is 20%, and that of over 300 seats is zero.

The tariff and non-tariff regulatory sub-committee of Russian Federation authorized relevant authorities to examine and approve the preferential conditions for aircraft importation from Belarus and Kazakhstan within the tariff union prior to June 18, 2010.
