India will give duty-free market access to about 60 listed items from neighboring Bangladesh. That's according to India's Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
He says that apart from Bangladesh, all the least-developed countries will have duty-free access to the Indian market. The move is seen as a step to strengthen and reinforce bi-lateral economic ties between India and Bangladesh.
The annual trade volume between India and Bangladesh is more than 2 billion U.S. dollars, which includes exports from Bangladesh worth around 260 million dollars.
