Vietnam to Reduce Import Tariff on 9,000 Commodities in 2011

According to the acceptance of entering into the WTO, Vietnam will reduce import tariff on 9,000 commodities, like dairy products, refrigeration home appliances, foods, poultries, agricultural products, building materials, automobiles, etc. The reduced tariff ranges from 1 percentage point to 6 percentage points. The import tariff on automobiles is generally among 72% to 82%.
