Vietnam Continues to Reduce Tariff Rate on Commodities in 2011

According to the reports by the Vietnam Customs Newspaper on February 15, 2011, Vietnam continues to reduce tariff rate on commodities according to the acceptance of entrance into WTO on the basis of the Announcement 184/2010/TT/BTC by the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam this year. The reduction ranges from one to three percentage points and the average reduction reaches 2.13 percentage points. The involved commodities mainly refer to agricultural products, marine products, building materials, electronics, refrigeration equipment, upholstery, etc.
