South Africa Continues Levying Anti-Dumping Duties on Polypropylene Carpet from China

As announced on February 7, 2011 by South Africa's international trade management committee, South Africa decided to continue levying anti-dumping duties on polypropylene carpet from China after the sunset review investigation, the duty rate shall be RAND 28.34 per kg.

The original investigation of the anti-dumping case began in January 1998, the final ruling announcement was issued in June 1999, imposing anti-dumping duties ranging from RAND 13.09 per kg to RAND 20.55 per kg on relevant Chinese products.
