Syria Reduces Tariffs on Milk Powder, Coffee, Tea, Rice, and Banana

Syria recently released Decree No. 70, announcing to reduce the tariffs on the following products: tariff on milk powder shall be reduced to 5% from 10%, that on roasted coffee shall be reduced to 15% from 20%, that on boxed tea no more than 3 kilograms shall be reduced to 7% from 10%, that on boxed tea over 3 kilograms shall be reduced to 3% from 5%, that on rice shall be reduced to 1% from 3%, and that on banana shall be reduced to 20% from 40%.
