Brazil Imposes Anti-Dumping Investigation on China's Coated/Galvanized Plates

On April 18, 2011, Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) of Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) released its 2011 Notice No.16 on launching anti-dumping investigations on coated/galvanized plates originating in China, Australia, Mexico, South Korea and India (Mercosur HS code 72103010, 72104910, 72106100, 72107010).

This is Brazil's second anti-dumping investigation against China in 2011, the amount involved reaches over USD 300 million, the largest-amount anti-dumping case against China launched by Brazil.
