[2011-05-25 10:19:15]

By Vietnam Economy news on May 20, 2011, Vietnam's Ministry of Finance has released a notice for raising its export tariff on iron ore from 30% to 40% commencing from July 2, 2011.

According to the report, in recent years, due to Vietnam's iron-ore/concentrate exports, lots of Vietnamese manufacturers are short of raw iron materials and therefore have to import. Raising the export tariff will be helpful to decrease the exports.
