Indonesia Gives Zero Tariff to 2011's Textile-Machinery Imports

It is reported that Indonesia Financial Minister lately signed the Rules No. 80, 2011 for new tariffs on imported goods.

According to those rules, import tariffs on textile spinning, weaving and special sewing machines are lowered from 5% to 0% that is to be valid till December 31, 2011. From January 1, 2012, their tariffs will be recovered to 5%.

Besides, those rules exempt import tariffs indefinitely on textile-processing chemicals (like carbinol) and machines for stoving, washing, bleaching, and dyeing.
