Turkey's Final Ruling of Safeguard Measures on Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Having a Viscosity Number Exceeding 78 ml/g

On June 15, 2011, Turkey made a final ruling of safeguard measures on PET having a viscosity number exceeding 78ml/g, deciding to impose safeguard measures on the involved products for a period of three years, and the tariffs for the three years are respectively 8%, 7.5% and 7%. But developing countries are included in this measure.

In March, 2011, Turkey launched safeguard measure investigation on PET having a viscosity number exceeding 78ml/g.
