Ukraine to Prolong Cereal Export Duties Till 2013

On Sept. 29, Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development & Trade declared that it had proposed prolongation of cereal export duties till January 1, 2013 and establishment of export duties on sunflower seed oil, rapeseed and soybean.

As claimed by the Ministry, such export duties, which will expire at the end of 2011 as originally scheduled, include:

Export duty rates of 9%, 12% and 14% respectively on wheat, corn and barley, with no less than EUR 17 (USD 25)/ton, EUR 20 (USD 29)/ton and EUR 23 (USD 33)/ton respectively on the three;

And 10%, 9.0% and 12% respectively on sunflower seed oil, rapeseed and soybean, with no less than EUR 84/ton, EUR 15/ton and EUR 33/ton respectively on the three.
