EU Released A Notice on Upcoming Expiration of AD Measures on Russia's Steel Wire Ropes and Steel Cables

On December 13, 2011, the European Commission released a notice, stating that the antidumping measure on Russia's steel wire ropes and steel cables will expire on November 1, 2012; interested parties should submit applications for antidumping sunset review from the date of release of the notice to 3 months before the expiring date.

In 2000, the EU launched antidumping investigation into steel wire ropes and steel cables originating in Russia; in 2011, the EU made a confirmative final ruling on this case.
