Russian Customs Union Gives Zero Duty to Apple Jams

Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan Customs Union adopted a resolution on Nov. 18, 2011 to lower import duties to zero for apple jams including candied apples and concentrated juice, taking effect from Jan. 2, 2012.

Before that, apple jams took on 15% of Russia customs evaluation as their duties; concentrated apple juice had the same duty rate, but no less than 0.07 euro/liter, with 20% shares on Russian juice market.
