South Korea to Put Quota Tariffs on Onions & Scallions

According to Yonhap news of July 17, South Korean government will give quota tariffs to onions and scallions from the end of July, whose basic tariff rates are currently 50% and 20% respectively, because of their price surge since spring drought.
The Korean government will set 10% and 0% quota rates for import onions and scallions, lasting till the yearend and August 31, respectively.
