Russia Customs to Change 138 Duties from Aug. 23

According to Russia Customs news, Russian customs union's commodity catalog and tariffs of new version have taken effect from August 23, 2012, involving 138 HS Codes.

Relevant revision is expected to provide the commodities missed in previous catalog, whose new duty rates are considered Russian commitments to the WTO, including vehicles aged over 7 years, bar chewing gums, and specific apples.

What's more, HS codes are made for previously unnamed commodities, e.g. high-quality beef, plywood.
