Vietnam to Up Iron/Steel Import Duties

According to Vietnamese newspaper, Vietnam Ministry of Finance has a plan to raise its import duties on some iron/steel products.

Therein, the import duty on cold-rolled stainless steels will be raised to 7% from current 5%, and the rates of other steels are expected to be up 5%-10%, including flat-rolled stainless steels of not more than 600mm width, iron/steel tubes with a round section and not less than 406.4mm outer diameter, and steel tube fittings.
