Vietnam to Quit Bus Parts Import Duties

 
Reported by Vietnamese news, Vietnam Ministry of Finance issued on October 30 its notice no. 185/2012/TT-BTC for exemption from import duties on bus parts/components imported for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh bus-investment projects.

According to the notice, which is to take effect on December 14, the duty exemption has the following requirements: the bus investment projects shall be approved by the governing authorities during 2012-2015 and shall be clarified in their effective time and import varieties, quantity, quality and value.
