U.S. Rulings on South Korea Household Washing Machines

On December 19, 2012, the United States Department of Commerce announced its final rulings for anti-dumping and anti-subsidy on large household washing machines from South Korea (see the tables below).

The U.S. International Trade Commission will make its final rulings for industrial injury on February 1, 2013, and if the Commission rulings are affirmative, the Department of Commerce will issue the double-anti order.

On January 19, 2012, the Department of Commerce started the double-anti probes under HS Codes 84501100.40, 84501100.80, 84502000.90, 84509020.00 and 84509060.00.

On June 5 and August 3, 2012, the Department of Commerce respectively made initial rulings for the anti-subsidy and anti-dumping measures.
