Malaysia Crude Palm Oil Export Duty 4.5% for March

The authority of Malaysia, the 2nd largest producer of palm oil, announced on February 15 that it will set the crude palm oil (CPO) export duty to 4.5% for March, which is zero in Feb.

Reportedly, the authority determined the duty rate as per the reference price of 2,306.11 ringgit/ton for March.

Last October, it indicated that it would cut the CPO export duty from 23% to 4.5%-8.5% from January 1 to recover more markets overseas.
