According to Chilean news, Chilean exports to South Korea in 2012 totals USD 4.547 billion, up 2% year-on-year, making the export destination replacing Brazil as No. 4.

It is said that Chile-South Korea free trade agreement is playing a favorable role for the bilateral trade, giving lower duties to Chilean products including wine, fruits, pork, beef, and fish (especially cuttlefish and stingray) that are appealing to Korean consumers.

By 2014, 99.8% of Chile-to-South Korea exports will be exempted from duties.
