Russia to Cancel Cereal Import Duty by April

 
Reportedly on February 27, Russian vice economic minister says that the government is likely to discuss the removal of its cereal import duty of 5% in April at latest.

Last year, Russian yield of cereals decreased by one third due to drought, compelling the authority to get more cereals imported to meet domestic demand; therefore, the government is estimated to remove the import duty this year.
