Russia Up Milk Import Duty to 18.3%

According to Russian news of March 1, the trade minister of Eurasian Economic Community said the Community has decided to raise the import duties on some milk products from 15% to 18.3%.

The minister indicated that this move is within the licensed adjustment under Russia's WTO negotiation framework, rather than a protective measure.

This policy will take effect within 30 days from the issuing date, covering butter, cheese, etc.
