On August 23, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) made a sunset-review final ruling on the dumped silicomanganese from India, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela:

Revoking the antidumping measures on the involved imports would lead to continuation or recurrence of the material injury from their dumping within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Accordingly, the existing antidumping measures will remain in place.

On April 2, 2002, the U.S. Commerce Department made its antidumping ruling on the silicomanganese imports under HS Codes 72023000.00 and 72029950.40.
