Year-on-year growth of bicycle import is 2.53% from Jan to Jul in China

It is shown in the statistical information from General Administration of Customs, “Main commodity of light industry import value in customs in Jan-Jul of 2008”, that from Jan to Jul, 2008, China’s whole bicycle import amounts to 8,100, with an year on year growth of 2.53%; the import value of whole bicycle is USD 4.018 million, with a year-on-year growth of 191.79%. In July, China imported 1,000 whole bicycles, with import value of USD 275,000.

In Jan-Jul, 2008, the import volume of bicycle is 18,800 ton, with a year-on-year growth of 4.55%; bicycle part import amount is USD 152 million, with a year-on-year growth of 21.27%. In July, China imported bicycle part of 2,600 ton, with the value of part import of USD 23,000,000.
