Lhasa Customs Statistics for Jan-Aug 2017

In January-August 2017, under Lhasa Customs control, export and import of goods totaled 74,108 tons, up 8.7% year-on-year (YOY), including 2,176 tons of imports, an increase of 92.9% YOY, and 71,932 tons of exports, up 7.2% YOY; cleared customs declarations totaled 2,689 consignments, down 4.6% YOY, including 314 imports, up 10.6% YOY, and 2,375 exports, down 6.3% YOY; cleared export-import value reached RMB 4.117 billion yuan, down 2.0% YOY, including import 2.412 billion yuan, up 59.7% YOY, and export 1.705 billion yuan, down 32.5% YOY.
During the 8 months, the Customs cleared entry-exit passengers 90,944 person-times, up 0.3% YOY; entry-exit vehicles 15,768, up 15.0% YOY; entry-exit aircrafts 585, up 27.2% YOY; entry-exit postal goods 2,389 pieces, down 0.3% YOY, and express mails 6,537 pieces, up 1.3 times YOY.
