Delegacy from KwaZulu of South Africa investigated in Jiaxing

In the morning of October 29, Shen Wenping, the vice director of the Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau met with the economic and trade delegacy from KwaZulu of South Africa headed by Mr. Huang Shihao, a congressman of South African Congress. Shen made brief introduction about the investment environment and industrial development of Jiaxing City and answered the questions about land, wage, water, electricity and heat supply, and other production elements and costs while the Congressman Huang Shihao and his officers made brief introduction about KwaZulu too.

The delegacy visited a few knitting enterprises in Honghe Town as accompanied by the personnel from Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and Xiuzhou District Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau in the afternoon. The delegates learned the operational mode of the local enterprises and the support of the local government to the enterprises, especially the medium and small enterprises. The delegates hoped that KwaZulu can cooperate with Jiaxing in technical training, production cooperation and market development as the textile industrial scale of Jiaxing is very impressive. The enterprise representatives of Jiaxing also expressed their interest on opening up the market in South Africa.
