The International Trade Administration (ITA) consults with U.S. industry to assess the impact of proposed domestic and international regulatory policies that affect U.S. industry’s competitiveness and the expansion of U.S. exports. ITA ensures that U.S. industry’s commercial interests are represented in trade negotiations, bilateral and multilateral discussions, and the U.S. rulemaking process. ITA advances policies and strategies that stimulate innovation and investment, enhance economic growth, and support U.S. manufacturing and services industries.
