Chongqing-made medical equipments popular in Europe

Chongqing Tianhai Medical Equipment Co. received purchasing orders of urine test equipments worth US$ 1 million from Spain a few days ago. In the first half of 2008, the company has hosted five purchasing missions from Spain, Italy and some other countries with intent equipment purchase exceeding US$ 2.5 million. Chongqing Shanwaishan Science & Technology Co. last month received purchasing orders from countries like India and Argentina and will export haemodialysis machines worth US$ 100,000, up 50 percent from last year. In the recent three months, medical equipment dealers from Spain and Italy have purchased more than US$ 6 million of Chongqing-made equipments. In the first ten months 2008, Chongqing??s medical equipments earned foreign exchange of over US$ 10 million, an increase of 30 percent. |
