Promotional Presentation on CICGF Was Held in Madrid

| A promotional presentation on 8th China International Consumer Goods Fair was held recently in Madrid, Spain, which was co-organized by the visiting CICGF delegation and the Association of Chinese Companies in Spain. Present at the meeting were: Mr. Jose Borras, the Vice Mayor of the City of Fuenlabrada; Ms. Pilar Zamora, the Vice president of Madrid Chamber of Commerce; and more than 70 wholesalers and manufacturers from the Spanish commercial sector. Mr. Li Xinhua, the Vice Secretary General of CICGF Organizing Committee, who is also the Vice Director of Ningbo Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau, briefed on the coming CICGF. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, he cordially invited the Spanish businessmen to attend the fair. The presentation got support from the Chinese Embassy. Ms. Wang Li, the head of the Section Consular, spoke at the presentation. Jose Borras, the Vice Mayor, made an ebullient speech. He remarked that the trade between Spain and China is steadily advancing. CICGF, a trade bridge built by the Chinese government, will be beneficial to the people, companies and governments on both sides. He hoped more Spanish companies would attend the fair, either as buyers or as exhibitors, and he would like to see more Spanish commodities entering the Chinese market through this channel. Some presents were eager to learn about CICGF and raised lots of questions. Some indicated that they would go to Ningbo to attend the fair. Ms. Pilar Zamora expressed the desire to organize Spanish companies to attend the fair, and would set a booth for Madrid Chamber of Commerce at the fair. The promotional presentation won the great support from Spanish Chinese Enterprise Association. In addition to organizing a special promotional presentation for CICGF, the association also organized the reception for the CICGF delegation. Jose Borras, the Vice Mayor, and Ms. Pilar Zamora, the Vice president and other officials attended the reception. The CICGF delegation also visited the Commercial Section of Chinese Embassy in Spain to inform about the presentation of CICGF.
