Growth rate of import and export of Zhoushan ranking first in the first nine months

In the first nine months, the import and export volume of Zhoushan City was US$ 4338 million, ranking 8 th among the cities in Zhejiang Province, growing by 68.9% over the same period of the previous year, ranking first among the cities in Zhejiang Province, in which export volume US$ 2320 million, 71.6% over the same period of the previous year, and import volume US$ 2020 million, 66.0% over the same period of the previous year. As driven forward by import and export of ship and oil, the import and export volume of Zhoushan has witnessed great progress over years. The cycle for doubling the volume is shortened very significantly. The foreign trade volume of Zhoushan in 2004 passed US$ 1 billion, US$ 2 billion in 2006, US$ 4 billion in 2007 and may pass US$ 5 billion in 2008.
