Russian Business Day Project Signing Ceremony and the Reception Banquet
On June 16th, during the session of the 19th International China Harbin Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation (Harbin Fair), Russian Business Day was held in Harbin which was jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province. The Trade Development Bureau under MOFCOM of PRC, China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges together with Heilongjiang Department of Commerce organized the Business Day.
The Vice Minister of China’s Commerce Yu Guangzhou, Governor of Zabaykalsky Krai Geniatulin Ravil Faritovich and Heilongjiang Governor Li Zhanshu attended the opening ceremony. Over 200 representatives of governmental officials and enterprises from both China and Russia were present at the Business Day.
A number of high level business promotion programs and business matching fairs were conducted during the Russian Business Day, such as the Promotional Conference on the Construction of Russian Special Economic Zone and Investment Financing Projects, the Business Matching Fair on the Development and Cooperation between Russia’s Far East, and Siberia Regions with the old Industrial Bases in Northeast China, Sino-Russian Business Matching Fair on Investment, Energy and Electromechanics Projects, the Symposium on Russian Investment Environment and Trade Practice Regulating, as well as the Sino-Russian ‘National Year’ Exhibition on Exchange and Cooperation, etc. Meanwhile, the Project Signing Ceremony of Russian Business Day and Reception Banquet were held On the evening of June 16th.
