Vice Director General Jia Guoyong meets ALMI Delegation

On April 3, 2008, Vice Director General of TDB, Jia Guoyong, met with the delegation of Swedish SMEs Development Corporation (ALMI) in Beijing. ALMI, which is a Swedish state-owned enterprise, mainly provides financing supports for small and medium enterprises, and promotes the development of SMEs in Sweden. The delegation which was organized by the Royal Swedish Sweden - Hong Kong Association mainly aimed at understanding China’s economy, especially the development of Chinese SMEs during their visit.

At present, the SMEs cooperation is a key point of cooperation between Sweden and China. Vice Director General Jia Guoyong introduced the development of Chinese SMEs to the Swedish representatives, as well as the related policies on promoting the development of China’s SMEs. The two sides made full inquiries into the ways and methods for the SMEs cooperation between China and Sweden. Both hoped to use this as a fresh impetus to promote the foreign trade cooperation between the two countries.
