Argentine wines entered China

On October 13, the Argentine wine-tasting event was held in Shanghai by Argentina CFI and Shanghai Representative Office of Argentine Consulate.

Argentine wines from 16 estates were shown firstly in China. They were eager to enter Chinese wine market. It's no doubt that Argentine wine industry attached importance to Chinese wine market.

Argentine wines represented all kinds of Argentine culture. They held Argentine wines tasting event in order to show their wine culture to Chinese consumers.

Nowadays, Argentina is the fifth wine producing country in the world, but it's on the threshold of exploiting Chinese wine market. Chinese consumers know a little about it. In recent 10 years, Argentine wine industry quickly raised its position in the world.

American wines and Australian wines are entering Chinese wine market. As another representative of New World wine, Argentine wine is not so difficult to be familiar to Chinese consumers. But their promotion ways should be special.

Compared with other countries' wines, Argentine wines' taste are more full-bodied. Argentina has good conditions of sunshine, water and soil which are good for growing grapes. In addition, the local government invests to improve cultivating techniques. Argentine wines' quality is better and better. It's the main reason that Argentine wines are promoted well in the world.

The output of Argentine wines is much more stable than other countries'. Some countries like France, its output are influenced by climate. However, Argentine wines are influenced indistinctly.

The wine-tasting event aimed to combine Argentine culture with Chinese market.
