Foreign wine enterprises target Chinese consumer market

Foreign wine enterprises said that Chinese consumer market of wine had large potential. Imported wines had more and more shares when consumers paid more attention to wine quality.

On October 18, delegates, agents and dealers of a dozen countries including France, German, Italy, and Spain brought about 200 varieties of foreign wines to the China Autumn Sugar&Liquor Fair. The foreign vintners were very bullish on Chinese consumer market.

A variety of Spanish wine entered China in 2006. Its agent said that they introduced wines to China because they found that the quality of life of Chinese people improved day by day. And now imported wines had 30% of shares in Chinese market. It will have more and more shares when Chinese consumers pay more attention to wine quality.

A French wine enterprise also said that they entered China in 2007. They tried to find experienced wine dealers to exploit Chinese market.

Many foreign wine enterprises found that there was a large potential in Chinese wine market. So they tried to show their wines in Chinese wine fairs.
