Province Sichuan??20% Ceramics Factories

in a Semi-Stop Producing Status

In west ceramic capital JiaJiang, almost 20% ceramics factories remain semi-stop producing state due to the big rise in petrol, electricity, coal and gas, which are the usual energy for these factories. Especially natural gas price has risen from RMB 1.1/Cub by the end of year 2006 to RMB 1.3/Cub this year. Over the second half of this year along with the state policy adjustment the gas price climbed to RMB1.8/Cub. Plus fierce competitiveness in products price in west area of China almost 80% factories have severe inventory, affecting the capital circulating and in face with bust crises.
