Jing De County??s Export at Record High

Jing De County??s export in 2006 is at record high with a value of $ 36.95 million in foreign currency. According to the estimates made by City Statistics Bureau, ceramics export accounts for 31.61% of the total export of the city, up by 4.83% over 2005. Ceramics export contributes to Jing De County??s overall foreign trade by 43.7%, up 22.51% over 2005. Besides, the overall quantity rise of ceramics export pushed the city foreigh trade increase by 17.43%, contributing greatly to the breakthrough of $ 100 million of the city export value.

Over the past years Jing De County has developed many related ceramics industries by creating all kinds of ceramics parks, such as electric ceramics, industrial ceramics, building ceramics, ornamental ceramics and newly-merged ceramics industries. Hence there have been implemented initial transferring and modernization of traditional ceramics industry. The joining of a large group of high tech ceramics companies has made Jing De County??s ceramics industry geographically concentration look more evident.
