On December 10,the first <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> US new metropolitan industrial town in central China settled in Hannan Wuhan. 9 US enterprises including Lehman Brothers Holdings have signed to enter and another 8 US enterprises have come to discuss the cooperation projects. US new metropolitan industrial town in Hanna was invested and constructed by Hong Kong Wallok Engineering Corporation, with a planned area of 1000 mu and total investment of RMB1.1b. After its completion and production, production value will reach RMB16b. US new metropolitan industrial town in Hannan is the clone of the mode of US emerging industrial cities, mainly introducing US hi-tech projects in such areas as optical electron and research and development.
