Taiwan Beer Was Successively Registered Trade Mark in Mainland

Based on "Central News Agency", after more than 10 years' effort, application of Taiwan Beer for registration of trade mark in mainland was finally successful, and it's expected to enter mainland smoothly next February. Wei Botao, chairman of Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation expressed that success of Taiwan beer in registration of trade mark is significant.

Wei stated that Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation is a 100% government-operated enterprise, and success of Taiwan Beer in registration of trade mark is the substaintial achievement gained in the atmosphere of cross-straits' goodwill.

He pointed out that Taiwan Beer has a history of 56 years, with 85% of market share so far. Success of Taiwan Beer in registration of trade mark is in fact significant. The road of cross-straits trade mark exchange has been smooth. The mainland's top brand cigarette "Zhonghua" is not only manufactured in Shanghai and delivered to Taiwan, but the cigarette plant of Taiwan Beer is willing to help manufacture in Taiwan instead, thus making supplements to cross-straits' advantages.
