In accordance with Article 4 of Measures for Supervision and Administration on Imported Measurement Instrument, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine revised the List of the Model and Type of Imported Measurement Instrument Subject to Examination and Inspection (hereinafter referred to as New List). It is now promulgated and shall be put into effect as from August 1, 2006.
As from today, no approval process of Model and Type of Imported Measurement Instrument shall be transacted for the measurement instrument excluded in the new list. The former List of the Model and Type of Imported Measurement Instrument Subject to Examination and Inspection shall be abolished as from this very day.
