The departments of commercial administration in all the provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, separately listed cities, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
The departments of commercial administration at all levels try every effort for the Work of Establishing the Commodities Database for Contingencies (hereinafter referred to as Database). By now, 300 enterprises and 17 kinds of contingency commodities are included in the database, with 31 provinces (districts, cities) covered. In order to accelerate the establishment of the database, matters of concern are listed as follows: 1. Expand the scope of contingency commodities and recommend qualified enterprises for selection. 23 kinds of contingency commodities are added to the database, namely there are 40 kinds in all at present. There shall be no less than 20 enterprises recommended by each province for the 23 new-added kinds. 2. Confirm the key enterprises for contact and initiate the work on information submission. With the recommendation of the departments of commercial administration and related industry unions, 349 enterprises are confirmed as the first batch of key enterprises for contact. The list is now promulgated in Appendix 3. The second batch of key enterprises shall be promulgated before June 20, 2006. 3. Develop working mechanism and reinforce organization and guidance. All the departments of commercial administration shall sufficiently cognize the significance of database establishment and continuously develop the Emergency Administration Mechanism in the local market so as to raise the capability of meet the urgent needs.
