General office of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and departments of commercial administration in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and cities specifically designated in the state plan:
For purpose of regulating administration on foreign chambers of commerce in China and representative offices of non-enterprise economic organizations, related matters are now announced as follows: 1. Foreign chambers of commerce in China and representative offices of non-enterprise economic organizations that need to be approved by Ministry of Commerce are required to use the new ??Examination and Verification Form for Foreign Chamber of Commerce in China?? and ??the Examination and Verification Form for Representative Offices of Foreign Non-enterprise Economic Organizations?? respectively as from May 1, 2006 (format enclosed, which can be downloaded from government website of Ministry of Commerce www.mofcom.gov.cn or China International Electronic Business Website www.ec.com.cn), the examination and verification form in former format is annulled. 2. Ministry of Commerce will take the new examination and verification form as one of the documents for related application, please print and fill in line with requirements.
