[Imports Management ] Ningbo Obtained National Import Loan Interest Subsidies of

       According to the information from Ningbo Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau yesterday, the State recently arranged nearly 16 million Yuan to Ningbo City for import loan interest subsidies in 2007, covering 125 enterprises. It is reported that it is the first time for Ningbo City to obtain such national import loan interest subsidies.

       To support enterprises to import raw materials, advanced technologies and important equipment that are urged in the country, the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce have jointly issued the import loan interest subsidy policy. In 2007, Ningbo City had totally 125 enterprises meeting relevant import loan interest subsidy application conditions and obtained the import loan interest subsidy of 15.9888 million Yuan.

      According to the person in charge of Ningbo Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau Electromechanical Appliance Department, under the current condition that most enterprises are short of capitals, the import loan interest subsidy policy undoubtedly provides timely help. He reminds that the import loan interest subsidy application in 2008 will be started, and relevant enterprises in Ningbo City shall take active part in applications and carefully check if their imported equipment, technologies or raw materials are consistent with the requirements of loan interest subsidy policy.
