[Industry Alert] Interim Tariffs of Imported Stone Material Declined to Zero

Tariffs Commission of the State Council released that interim tariff for imported stone material will be declined to zero according to the Tariff Implementation plan of 2009.
On 15th Dec. 2008, Tariffs Commission of the State Council announced the tariff implementation plan of 2009 and released the interim tariffs rates on 637 kinds of imported commodities including imported stone material.
In accordance with tariff implementation plan of 2009, the interim tariffs rates of the following imported stone materials will be declined to zero since 1st Jan. 2009. They are calcareous monument or stone and adipocire for building with tariffs code of 25152000; granite material with tariffs code of 25161100,25161200 ; sandstone material with tariff code of 25162000 etc. Differed from above items, the interim tariff rate for marble material with tariff code of 25151100 and 25151200 will be declined to zero from 1st Jun. 2009.
