[Industry Alert] General Administration of Customs: the Sum of in China Reaches

According to the statistics from customs, the sum of foreign trade in China reaches 25.6163 trillion dollars, which rises 17.8% than that in last year with a drop of 5.7 percentage points.
 
According to General Administration of Customs, influenced by international financial crisis, the speed of Sino-foreign trade increases fast at the first period but lower at the second period, and first lower than 20% since join in WTO. According to the statistics from customs, the total value of import and export foreign trade in 2008 is 25.6163 dollars, which rises 17.8% than that of last year with a drop of 5.7 percentage points.
 
The foreign trade of China in 2008 takes the following characteristics
 
Ⅰ、The scale of foreign trade shrinks in the 4th quarter of the year, and the speed of import and export in last two months takes on a slowing down
 
Ⅱ、Te speed of common trade increase while surplus slows down; the proportion of processing trade decreases and the speed of import lower than that of export.
 
Ⅲ、The step of import and export of foreign investment enterprise slows down, while the speed of import and export in state owned enterprise increases.
 
Ⅳ、The European Union keeps the status of the first business partner of China, the bilateral trade with India slows down dramatically.
 
Ⅴ、Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shanghai keeps the top 3 in the foreign trade of import and export.
 
Ⅵ、The speed of mechanical and electric product slows down, and the import and export of traditional commodities takes on steady.
 
Ⅶ、 The proportion of primary product import increases, and the import price of resource product rises.
