[ Anti-dumping and Countervailing Measures]Ministry of Commerce Initiated Anti-d

On 12th Dec, 2008, Ministry of Commerce received applicant letter of anti-dumping investigation against Terephthalic Acid imported from Thailand and the Republic of Korea submitted by Zhejiang Hualian Sanxin Petrochemical Company Limited, Zhengjiang Yisheng Petrochemical Company Limited and Xiamen Xianglu Petrochemical Holdings Limited.

Therefore, Ministry of Commerce starts anti-dumping probe of terephthalic acid from Thailand and the Republic of Korea. The established dumping investigation period and industry injury investigation period is 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 and 1 January 2005 through 30 September 2008 separately.

Investigation Scope: imported Terephthalic Acid originating from Thailand and the Republic of Korea.
