Application Formality:
Appraising application before distribution for the
imported measuring instrument which is listed in the Measuring Instrument
Catalog Administrated Legally of People's Republic of China (those can not be
appraised by Shanghai, but have to apply to State Bureau of Quality Supervision,
Inspection and Quarantine are excluded).
Processing Procedures:
1. The processing authority accept the application
of appraising imported measuring instrument and entrust qualified technical
institutions to appraise.
2. The entrusted technical institution will arrange
for appraising on the imported measuring instrument, notify the applicant to
negotiate for the appraising plan, appraise and issue certificate according to
related measurement technical criterion. In case that the entrusted technical
institution can not make appraisement, the documents will be returned to the
processing authority.
3. The processing authority audits the appraising
certificate or appraising results notice, chop for the approval of imported
appraising. For those can not be appraised, the documents will be returned to
the applicant, and re-apply to the State Bureau of Quality Supervision,
Inspection and Quarantine.

(1) Juridical person
certificate (photocopies)
(2) Application Form for Imported Measuring
Instrument Appraising
(3) Technical handbook of the measuring instrument
(including Chinese handbook)
(4) User Guide
(5) The measuring instrument
which is listed in the Censor Catalog of Imported Measuring Instrument Model of
People's Republic of China also need submit photocopies of Approval Certificated
of Imported Measuring Instrument Model of People's Republic of China or other
testimonials.
(6) Customs declaration or corresponding customs
documents
(7) Promises on after service
All the above documents need to be
chopped by the applicant. The application form should be 2 copies, while for
other documents, 1copy is enough.
