Processing Authority: Industrial Product Manufacturing License Office of Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervising Bureau (shortened as Shanghai License Office)

Application Formality:

1. Business License (photocopies)

2. Testing reports of overall performance of the product quality

3. Other documents required by laws and regulations

Processing Procedures:

1. Shanghai License Office examines the application documents and issues Registration and Record Application From to qualified applicants;

2. Shanghai License Office issues Registration and Record Certificate to the qualified manufacturers or distributors. For those unqualified, Shanghai License Office will issue Unqualified Notice. The applicants can make re-applications after restructuring.

Time Limit for Processing:

Shanghai License Office will issue Registration and Record Certificate to the qualified applicants within 7 working days since receiving the application form.

Qualified Application Subject:

Products manufactured by out-of-town manufactures that fall into the production permission administration scope of Shanghai and want to be distributed in Shanghai.

1. The products quality meet the national standard, industrial standard, or Shanghai standard;

2. The products have quality appraising reports issued by quality appraising institution authorized by provincial product quality supervising authorities.

3. The products have other documentations prescribed by laws and regulations.
